Chad marks 'Freedom and Democracy Day' after severing defense ties with France

Chad commemorated its 34th Freedom and Democracy Day on Sunday with a military parade, following the announcement of cutting defense ties with France. In N’Djamena, President Mahamat Idriss Deby Itno and other officials attended the ceremony, featuring traditional music and marching soldiers.
