Mistakemistake - Hipelectroragga2hopreggaestep

"Mistakemistake" is a Belgrade crew that gathered different members into the electro sound with a hint of ragga-reggae, 2step-garage sound (as they call it "Hip-electro- ragga-2-hop reggae-step"). Group members are: Ivan Bon (composer), Edi Bon (producer), Elena Lange (vocals), Ana Janković - Zoe Kidah (vocals), Milovan Bošković - MC Milovan (vocals), Ana Ignjatović - Konstrakta (vocals), and Bojana Vunturišević (vocals).

It all started with Ivan and Edi Bon (two brothers) who developed their electro style in their home production. They need to get away from the depressive atmosphere of Belgrade of the 90's.

The name Mistakemistake descends from the concept that every art creation is based on mistakes.

Released to critical acclaim, their debut album "Hipelectroragga2hopreggaestep" (2004, Multimedia Records) seamlessly blends elements of hip-hop, electro, reggae, and dubstep into a unique sonic tapestry.
With its innovative soundscapes and undeniable groove, the release establishes Mistakemistake as a formidable force in the Belgrade music clubing scene.

Four years later, the band release their second studio album "Kobajagi", under the Indietronic label. Album contains 12 tracks of authentic sound, combining various genres: electro, rock, afro, dub, and grime...
On this release, Mistakemistake collaborated with Vukašin Marković (Irie FM, Eyesburn), Robert Urban Luci , and the now-standard vocal lineup consisting of Elena Lange and Bojana Vunturišević.

Third release "MMORPG" (2011, MTV.rs) was recorded in home production, using samplers and grooveboxes, contains 11 tracks of various genres, inspired by retro electro-pop from the early eighties, acid house from the late eighties, and reggae. The album refers to massively multiplayer online role-playing games, and the title track addresses the social and cultural aspects of this phenomenon.
