• Most imagery doesn’t adequately portray the good shepherd.
• A good shepherd is brave and strong.
• He is ready to protect His sheep and willing to be torn to pieces by wolves.
• He will not flee like a bad shepherd, a hireling.
• St. Maximilian Kolbe exemplifies a good shepherd.
• He created the Militia Immaculata.
• He called for praying for the enemies of the Church, like the Freemasons, and for wearing the Miraculous Medal.
