Atherton #5 (dry fly)

Hook: #12-16 fine wire
Thread: tan or black
Wing: wood duck flank
Tail: grizzly hackle barbs mixed with brown hackle barbs
Rib: small gold oval tinsel
Body: hare’s ear
Hackle: cree or mixed grizzly and brown

Head cement recipe:
Goop
Xylene (epoxy thinnner)

Instructions:
Fill a quart jar half full with Xylene
Squeeze a tube of Goop into the Xylene
Shake until the Goop is dissolved; add Xylene to desired consistency

Apply with a pin or needle dipped in the liquid
