Lord of the Rings Online: The Battle of Helm's Dike

Our journey has finally brought us to Helm's Deep and after speaking with the gang there we hear that the enemy approaches and it's time for us to head to Helm's Dike to fend off the first assault. This is our introduction to the Big Battles and we head in for our first run. We get to see all the different facets of the battle, from commanding troops to fighting off sneak attacks. As it's our first run we cannot, sadly, build traps or barriers to slow the enemy but we fend them off fairly successfully and are rewarded at the end with some upgrades to our jewellery and some more tokens to buy even better gear.

We will be doing more battles in and around Helm's Deep as the storyline progresses, the enemy is delayed, not yet defeated.
