I was excited to pick up my first Shadow Systems pistol, the CR920XP, but things didn’t go as planned. Right out of the box, this gun had malfunctions every single shot. I tried different types of 9mm ammo—124gr, 115gr, 147gr—and even swapped recoil springs with a friend’s CR920XP. While his pistol ran perfectly, mine still struggled, even after 600 rounds and a new recoil spring from Shadow Systems.
