Pinal County Sheriff Mark Lamb says he believes New York City Eric Adams genuinely wants to work with “border czar” Tom Homan on deporting illegal immigrants and border security. “He sees the impact that it’s had on New York. He’s hearing from New Yorkers every day. I think the only challenge for him is balancing that political stance that the left has taken so hard to the left and so pro-illegal immigration, so pro-human trafficking,” he says.
