On 2 December 2024, City of Clarence Councillor, Emma Goyne, put forward a motion similar to Port Hedland re DNA CONTAMINATION in Pfizer and Moderna COVID-19 products. Goyne's motion was seconded by Deputy Mayor Allison Ritchie but was lost 10:2.

*Correction* The COVID-19 shots have been stopped in the facilities of Idaho's Southwest District Health, which serves six counties in Idaho: Adams, Canyon, Gem, Owyhee, Payette, and Washington. This action was taken after a board vote on October 22, 2024.
