The Springfield XDm 40 Compact pistol comes with three back straps in different sizes so you can custom fit the grip to your hand.

XDm backstrap removal is a pretty simple and straightforward process. Simply tap out the roll pin in the grip to release the backstrap..

You will need a 3/32” punch and a small hammer.

An optional item that I use is a Real Avid Bench Block that comes in handy anytime you need to remove a pin from a firearm.
