December 8, 2024 - "The Prophecies of Christmas" (2nd Sunday of Advent)

One of the most important (and exciting) aspects of Christmas has to do with prophecy. If the ancient prophecies about Jesus hadn't been fulfilled, then He wouldn't have been who He claimed to be, and the Bible could be thrown out as just another piece of literature.
But the fact is that Scripture makes prophecies that are already fulfilled and, therefore, its authenticity can be tested by historical fact.
This Sunday, we're going to examine some of the main prophecies that told us about Lord Jesus Christ and how they were fulfilled at His first coming.
