WE REACT TO THE PENTAGON'S LATEST FAILED AUDIT

When thinking of corruption, an African politician or state often comes to mind. That is because that is the image the mainstream media and Hollywood have cultivated about our beloved continent. But we ask you to reconsider and ask what is more corrupt than the Pentagon, the headquarters of the US Department of Defense, which recently failed its seventh consecutive audit, unable to account for $824 billion in military expenditures. US Under-Secretary of Defense Comptroller Mike McCord stated, 'This result was not a surprise,' but emphasised that the department is progressing in addressing its financial issues.

The Pentagon's off-the-books dealings have devastating consequences for those affected by covert operations, particularly in Africa and other regions.
