The United States is celebrating the collapse of the Syrian government that is now in the hands of al-Qaeda. You may wonder why the U.S. would fight al-Qaeda in Afghanistan for two decades and then celebrate them in Syria. You would be right to recognize that contradiction and forgiven for now knowing that the U.S. has been arming al-Qaeda's spin-off the al-Nusra Front since the Obama administration.

Obama hid that from the American people by coming up with a clever name for al-Nusra. He called them ""moderates."" A sort of diet soda version, if you will. But they were always al-Qaeda and now President Biden says that their rule in Syria is a “fundamental act of justice.”
