My Family Needs My Best

I was tempted to stay in bed this morning and lay with my kids.

“They need me” came to my head.

But no, I got out of bed and went to the gym.

Why? Because a different perspective came to me.

“They NEED me”

The same phrase but a different meaning.

My kids NEED me to rise.

They need their father to inspire them.

More than snuggles while they sleep they need someone to show them how to live.

Don’t get me wrong, I definitely snuggle and cuddle my kids a lot.

In fact I woke up 30 minutes early naturally today at 3:15 today and layed with my son.

But at 3:45 I went to the gym and got after it.

Because he needs me at my best.

My family needs my best.

I must rise for them.
