The Way Of God More Perfectly
(Humility takes us from good to best)
Text: Acts 18:24-28

Objective: that we may learn to that humility can even bring us to new heights.
Intro: Define Humility, Way of God, Perfect

Characteristics of a Humble person that God will take on a new level:
1. Gifted - v. 24

"an eloquent man"
all of us have gifts / talents

2. Understands and Devoted to the Bible - v. 24

"mighty in the scriptures"
instructed in the way of the Lord
shewing by the scriptures that Jesus was Christ - v28

3. Courageous / Brave - vv. 25-26

fervent in spirit, speak boldly
this should not surprise us, be humble before God and be brave doing His will
mightily convinced the Jews, and that publickly - v28

4. Have Imperfections but accepts correction - vv 25-26

knowing only the baptism of John
and expounded unto him the way of God more perfectly.
the importance of discipleship and fellowship.

5. Will be greatly used by God - vv. 27-28

"helped them much"

Message/conclusion:
Let us strive to be humble specially those of us that are gifted and very good on certain areas of life, to be better used by God in His way.... Don't waste the gifted life!
