2024 GOP CD-1 Special Election Primary Debate: Replacing Matt Gaetz

Eight Republican candidates gathered in Navarre, Florida, on December 9, 2024, for a debate to seek the Party nomination for Florida's first congressional district to fill the seat formerly held by Matt Gaetz.

Governor Ron DeSantis, through executive order, issued a Special Primary Election which will be held on Tuesday, January 28, 2025, and the Special General Election will be held on Tuesday, April 1, 2025.
