&SF 2-10-4 Steam Locomotive Number 5000 leads the charge up the Colorado Side of Raton Pass with a string of Ice-Box Reefers. Although 5000 (Madame Queen) is Santa Fe's most powerful puller, she still needs the help of AT&SF 2-10-4 Number 3829 and 4-8-4 Number 3751

This video features a 1941 era scenario of heavy grade steam power over Raton Pass. All of the engines were converted from coal to oil fuel in 1940, so the firemen has a much easier job "keeping- em hot".
