We need more people like Mayor Harold McQuaker of Emo, Ontario.

Tensions between the embattled mayor and Borderland Pride continue, following a controversial Ontario Human Rights Commission ruling. The dispute, which began when Emo Township declined to issue a pride proclamation in 2020 and display a pride flag, has escalated to the point where the mayor’s bank account was garnished after he refused to comply with a tribunal order.

Jonathon Van Maren looks at Mayor McQuaker’s bold stand, the implications for religious freedom, and the aggressive tactics employed by Borderland Pride, which don't seem so "tolerant" at all.
