VISITING BEAUTIFUL DOWNTOWN BUENOS AIRES!

In this video, we visit historic buildings and main landmarks of downtown Buenos Aires. Starting at Plaza Mayo, we show you the square, Casa Rosada which is the office of the president of Argentina as well as a few more buildings nearby. One more place that we visited near Plaza Mayo was the Metropolitan Cathedral of Buenos Aires which is a fantastic place to visit with so much history and so many architectural details. Next we walked a few blocks and visited another very famous landmark of Buenos Aires: Obelisco. This tower that has a simple but elegant design is truly a place for a lot of national events and celebrations in Argentina and Buenos Aires. It's also important to mention that it is located located on one of the major avenues in Buenos Aires called Avenida 9 de Julio. This avenue is a very wide avenue with 7-9 lanes on each directions. Also, a very short away from Obelisco on avenida 9 de Julio you will find another architectural masterpiece of Buenos Aires: Teatro Colón. This historic building is a masterpiece on several levels and is an opera house and concert hall which is still in use and you can also purchase tickets for guided visits. Our next stop was at another marvellous square called Plaza del Congreso which is a large square built in front of the Argentinian congress, el congreso. Congreso de la Nación Argentina is another stunning building which took several years to build but when you visit this place, you will appreciate why it took a while to be built.
