Redeemed! How I Love to Proclaim It! [A Study of Psalm 114]

➡️ The Bible is all about God rescuing us: helping us in a moment of crisis, knowing what to do for us, and having the power to do it. In this sermon, Pastor Robert J. Morgan discusses Psalm 114, one of six psalms included in the Egyptian Hallel, or traditional Passover songs. In this psalm, we see the story of the Exodus retold. Pastor Rob details the history of the Israelites’ redemption out of Egypt, and then he shows how Moses’ life in the Old Testament foreshadows Jesus’ act of redemption for us in the New Testament. The Hallel psalms reflect the message of the gospel, showing that what Moses did for the Israelites in that first Exodus, Jesus has done in an extraordinary, eternal way for all of us.
