Misty Griffin currently happily resides in Pasadena, California with her husband, however she had an incredibly strict and difficult childhood where her parents enforced an Amish-style life. After Misty attempted to run away from home, the family moved into an Amish community. But after three years of living as an Amish woman, Misty was molested by the bishop of the community. After enduring months of abuse, she made the decision to leave after living in the community for three years.
