Here’s a quick primer on creating propaganda.

The Western media is always busy manufacturing feel-good pablum for its audiences. In Syria, it’s the great emergence of the Syrian “people” into the light, after decades of “darkness.”

Here is Clarissa Ward of CNN finding random Syrians who can spout off US propaganda perfectly. Then, she pokes around in some Syrian prison and just happens upon a “forgotten prisoner” whom she promptly frees. This forgotten prisoner is “Syria,” of course, brought into the “light” of “freedom” by CNN the good.
