All civilizations shared similar building technology

Megalithic structures all over the world, seem to have similar characteristics in stones, stacking and shaping techniques.

Are we living in the ruins of a more sophisticated and technologically advanced civilization? Was there a catechism that caused humanity to slip back into the Stone Age only two have recently emerged technologically, but still not able to reproduce megalithic structures with the same accuracy.

This would indicate travel worldwide was possible before conventional history tells us and knowledge of building skills was shared. Let the stones speak.
