Fall River MA, Drug suspect gets stuck in chimney trying to hide.

FALL RIVER — Looks like the Big Man in Red isn't the only one creeping through chimneys this December.

One man found himself in a tight spot Tuesday, as an alleged attempt to escape capture with what Fall River police called "Santa-antics" resulted in his getting trapped in a chimney and ultimately arrested.

According to Sgt. Ross Aubin, FRPD public information officer, there arose such a clatter at 127 Canal St. on Tuesday night, when detectives from the Community Action & Suppression Team executed a search warrant for drug charges.

During this time, FRPD said, two men fled the Canal Street residence up on the housetop.
