Europe-wide crackdown on 'key criminal threats’: Over 750 arrested, over 400 weapons seized

European law enforcement forces participated in a coordinated operation carried by EMPACT, a.k.a European Multidisciplinary Platform Against Criminal Threats. They targeted such criminal activities as migrant smuggling, human trafficking, drug and firearms trafficking. In total, 796 individuals were arrested, 442 weapons seized, and 316 investigations were initiated, according to Europol.
