The Russian airbase Khmeimim in Syria, video from a drone

13.12.2024 СИРИЯ - Syrian journalists have taken panoramic video footage of a drone from the Russian Khmeimim airbase in Syria. As you can see from the video, the aircraft are parked in hangars, but the hangars do not have protective nets against drones. It is worth noting that there are probably no anti-drone units at the base, as the drone can film unhindered. Russian Su-34NVO and Su-24M bombers and Su-35S fighters are currently stationed at the airbase. The picture also shows two Il-76s of the Russian military transport aircraft and an Il-76 of the Syrian air force. Bloomberg reports that Russia is close to reaching an agreement with the new Syrian leadership on the preservation of two military bases in Syria. Once the deal is finalized, the port of Tartus and the Khmeimim airbase will remain in Syria. Source TV Syria
