Firestarter Arrested After Claiming She Set the Blaze Out of Desire

On November 7, 2024, officers from the Davenport Police Department were dispatched to a scene involving a disturbance where a woman reported that a man had brandished a knife during a confrontation. According to the woman's statement, the incident occurred while she was engaged in a physical altercation with another woman. The woman further explained that the man, who was present at the scene, drew the knife in response to the ongoing fight.

This particular woman had recently been charged with reckless use of fire just days earlier, after allegedly starting a fire at a local bus station.

All are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
