Acts 24:1-23 - I Have Hope in God; There Will Be a Resurrection of the Dead

The Jews send a delegation to Caesarea to bring their charges against Paul before Felix the Governor. In response, Paul denies that he is guilty of inciting violence or any of their other false charges. “But this I confess to you, that according to the Way which they call a sect, so I worship the God of my fathers, believing all things which are written in the Law and in the Prophets. I have hope in God, which they themselves also accept, that there will be a resurrection of the dead, both of the just and the unjust” (Acts 24:14, 15 NKJV).
We look at several of the many passages from the Old Testament (“the Law and the Prophets”) that point to Jesus as Messiah, to the resurrection, to the final judgment, as well as to verses that illustrate that we now live in the last of the last days. Despite their knowledge of the Scriptures, the Jews rejected Jesus because then, as now, many choose to believe a lie rather than the truth. With Paul as an example, Pastor Kevin exhorts believers to remain steadfast in sharing the gospel with those who will listen while there is still time.
