India’s External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar on December 7 responded to American President-elect Donald Trump’s threat to BRICS over de-dollarisation push. Jaishankar, during an event in Doha, said that while BRICS nations do discuss financial transactions, there was currently no proposal for a BRICS currency, and that India had no interest in weakening the dollar.
