Disney Cuts Trans Message in New Series | Going Woke Has Been Bad for Business

Pixar has reportedly removed trans messaging in their upcoming Disney+ limited series, Win or Lose, because it’s not good for business.

A spokesperson for Disney said they believe such issues should be left for parents to discuss with their kids when they’re ready, a departure from past movies where the LGBTQ elements were pretty apparent. This is likely because past movies that pushed these sorts of things failed. Meanwhile, last summer Pixar removed LGBT elements from Inside Out 2 and that movie was met with box office success. In fact, one reason cited for the film’s success is the absence of political messaging. It’s looking like Disney has finally learned their lesson, but it will probably still be some time before they earn the trust of families again.
