Dr. Marcus on who is supporting HTS in Syria and why

In what is a very fast-moving development, Dr. Marcus spoke with Iran's IRNN about the Al Qaeda affiliate HTS. In the interview, Dr. Marcus said that given the highly competent fighting abilities which HTS is exhibiting in Syria, he is compelled to ask questions which, unsurprisingly, Western mainstream media will not ask. Thus, he asked who is arming HTS? Who is training HTS? Who is financing HTS? And who is providing logistical and intelligence support to HTS? Dr. Marcus gave a clue to the aforementioned questions by saying that the answer lies with governments whose media outlets are referring to HTS terrorists as "rebels". Furthermore, Dr. Marcus contended that the US-backed Al Qaeda offensive in Syria must be seen in the context of the Russian military campaign in Syria. In essence, Dr. Marcus said that the Americans are attempting to force Russia to fight on two fronts - Ukraine and Syria. According to Dr. Marcus, the Americans are hoping that the Russians will lose control of the situation in Syria, resulting in the Syrian Government being overthrown, which would mark the end of Russian influence and power in both the Middle East and North Africa.
