Yemen's Capital Under Attack, IDF Bombs Houthi Targets After Missile Is Fired At Central Israel

A series of intense Israeli airstrikes shook Yemen’s capital Sanaa and a port city early on December 19. A Houthi-controlled TV outlet said that some of the strikes targeted power stations in the capital, as well as the Ras Isa oil terminal on the Red Sea.
The Houthi-controlled Al-Masirah TV later reported that the strikes killed nine people including seven at the port of Salif and the rest at Ras Issa.
The strikes came shortly after a projectile fired from Yemen targeted central Israel, triggering off warning sirens.
Meanwhile, the Israeli military confirmed striking in Yemen, saying their fighter jets struck Houthi military targets. According to an IDF statement, the targets struck by the warplanes were “used by Houthi forces for their military operations.”
