"Words" Missing Persons 1982

Back in the 80's, a lot of the new music that wasn't metal, had synth bass lines.
One of the bands I found interesting was Missing Persons.
I found that learning how to play these types of songs on bass guitar was fun, and sometimes rather challenging. The precision needed to perform music played by a machine still has a certain appeal to me.
Bass of choice this time is my 1983 Rickenbacker 4003
We've been together for 41 years now, and it still sounds pretty killer.

I taped this a couple of days before the tragic fires that raged through the Los Angeles area. I lived in Southern California for almost 60 years, and I knew this would happen one day. The people in charge there for the last 20 years have made every wrong decision possible from water management to land development to hiring regulations for fire fighters.
They will blame climate change, or Donald Trump or some other Boogyman. This is on Gavin Newsom, Karen Bass, and the entire leftist party in California. And it will keep happening if the people keep electing "progressive" politicians. I urge my friends that still live there, leave now. California is lost.
