Classic vanilla(+) STALKER is the best STALKER. (Master difficulty always)
For those who don't know what Call of Chernobyl is, it is vanilla plus STALKER with all 3 maps of all 3 games in the Call of Pripyat engine.
Many mods overhaul too much and change STALKER into something else. Yes, I have played a handful of them, and they are good, but there's nothing like the atmosphere of classic STALKER. The nostalgia factor and just appreciated how ahead of the times GSC was. Awesome.
