Every person that claims Yeshua/Jesus as their personal Savior has a degree of authority - but your mileage may vary depending on many different factors (e.g. generational blessings or earned authority) OR maybe because that's just how Yah/God wants to move in that moment.

Should you try to use your authority when casting out a demon? Yes for sure. But also know spiritual warfare isn't black and white, it isn't a flow chart (not that we could decipher anyways) as many times it's beyond our comprehension because Yah/God wants us to walk with & to discover Him.
