How Marriage Works

My wife and I are different people.

(Duh.)

We have different tastes in music, and movies.

We have different outlooks on life, different viewpoints on things.

And we complement one another.

Our strengths are the other person’s weakness, which allows us to carry one another through different situations.

Hence, this story of a drive home I took from Wisconsin, through Minnesota, to Iowa.

Driving is always a perilous adventure, especially so when surrounded by people on their phones, and amphetamine-riddled truckers trying to make a destination without a care in the world to anyone around them…
