DEI versus SQL: FIGHT!

If DEI is so noble then why does it seem to increasingly require coercion? DEI us not just an ideological matter but a use of force issue.

What happens when a potentially talented salesman can sell something he shouldn't? What if they desire an ever increasing challenge to the point of selling a defective product to do so?

Is he really so talented? It's hard to tell. He talks all about how it's for everyone but then says things that alienate half the audience and that would put them off. It doesn't make sense to push it as mandatory but then to use that as a tactic to push away the wrong customers.
