2024_12_22 The Birth of Jesus - He Came to Restore

Christmas 2024 is here already and another year almost gone… every year we hear about the birth of Jesus, how He was born to save us from our sins and restore our relationship with God etc. But is there more to why Jesus was really born? Was more than Him going to the Cross to save us? I believe there was more to it than just dying for our sins and restoring our relationship with God. Yes, don’t get me wrong what Jesus did on the Cross was the greatest event through all history. But could His coming into the world in flesh have more significance? He didn’t have to come in the flesh to save us did He? As we celebrate His birth, I want you to think about why Jesus had to clothe himself in the flesh was there more to it than dying for our sins… I believe He came in the flesh to restore us to a higher place than most believe.
