This is a track from Unterladen Und Hoeren, our 39th album, released in 2019.Dedicated to Barbara Jackson, Martin’s favourite girl while he was a pupil in Amery Hill School. He states: ‘I rarely write numbers that are slow, quiet and gentle yet this is easily among the very best works I have ever created and I am justifiably proud of it. Colin is usually our drummer but this piece omits any percussion so he plays one of the bass guitars instead. The others are played by Keilan Knight. It is quite common for me to write a number that features 3 separate bass guitar parts for each of the lads to perform.’ So now you know.
