Van won't start. How to quick fix a battery cable/wire that's too short
9 months ago
7
I was cleaning out my van the other day when I found a loose wire, and it was messing up all sorts of stuff. The lights kept flickering. I noticed the power wasn’t comin through right on some of my gauges. I took a good look and figured out that wire had come loose from where it was supposed to be connected to the battery terminal. Went to Advanced and got an extension Once I reattached it and made sure everything was tight and secure, the van started right up off the main battery. It just goes to show, if you don’t keep an eye on those wires, they’ll cause all kinds of trouble – flickering lights, dead battery, or even bigger problems with the engine. So, always check under the hood or behind the panels for anything loose.
