tacing down metal roof panels

putting the last finishes on the metal roof panels. screwing down roof channels/ridge's.
where the panels overlap, it's good to tac down with longer screws. what's recommended is good to stick with that. (in my case 2 1/2 inch screws is what I'm using) remember to use the same size drill bit or what is best recommend.
again in current situation I went with a bigger drill bit and screw cause I replaced a few plywood boards on the roof and using the same roof panels. so I had to use a bigger screw to hold down the roof panel.
once you get the layout of the pattern for the screws just stick with that. Either it be diagonal or horizontal, just stick with it.
