Elephant seel birth to beautiful child

The elephant seel gives birth after a long gestation period of nearly 22 months, the longest among mammals. The mother typically seeks a safe, secluded spot for the delivery. A newborn calf weighs around 100-150 kilograms and is immediately helped to stand by the mother and herd. The calf is blind at birth but instinctively seeks its mother’s milk for nourishment.
