From Auschwitz to Christ: The Commandant's Grandson | Kai Höss

Kai Höss joins Jonathon Van Maren to discuss his familial legacy as the grandson of Rudolf Höss, the Commandant of Auschwitz.

Kai Höss speaks about his personal experiences growing up with this dark history, and how that impacted him when he learned about it for the first time.

He tells of his experience taking part in the recent documentary “The Commandant’s Shadow” and his thoughts on the movie portraying his family in “The Zone of Interest.”

Kai highlights his conversion story and transformation after becoming a Christian, and speaks of his efforts to seek reconciliation and educate others about the Holocaust and anti-Semitism.
