• A USB flash drive (8GB or larger).
• A second device like a laptop or smartphone to follow instructions.
• A backup of your important files from Windows 11.
• An active internet connection.
• Go to www.linuxmint.com.
• Click on 'Download' and select the version that suits your system (most likely the 64-bit Cinnamon edition).
• Download and install Balena Etcher from etcher.balena.io
• Insert the USB drive into your computer.
• Open etcher and select your Linux Mint ISO file.
• Set the target to your USB drive and click 'Flash.'
* Restart your PC and press the key to enter the boot menu (usually F12, F10, or ESC).
* Select your USB drive from the list.
* Click “Install Linux Mint” on the desktop.
