What happened in Syria and fall of Assad

Assad is a mason himself, if he was an idiot he at minimum would step down and transition something to keep the nation stable, but he basically helped them destroy the entire army arsenal and leave Syrians with savages and their masters.
I doubt those with interest in syria will allow the syrians to have a say in what is to come, its clear the entire thing has been preplanned and outcomes are desired, unless somehow Syrians are able to reclaim the revolution.
