For the second year in a row, Bethlehem's Christmas tree is absent

As the war of genocide and aggression on Gaza continues for the second consecutive year, the celebration of the birth of Jesus Christ in Bethlehem is limited to prayers and religious rituals.
At Manger Square, in the heart of Bethlehem, where Christmas lights once filled the air with joy and celebration, sadness now looms, as the war on Gaza continues to rage. There are no decorations or lights this year only prayers, carrying a message of hope, peace, and resilience.
