Tavares Leaders Comment On Fluoridation Before Voting It Out

Tavares Mayor and city council members deliver comments on water fluoridation after two weeks of research and asking residents what they think about the issue.

Some city leaders cited potential harms and informed consent but they also said the majority of the feedback from residents was that they did not want fluoride in the water. They voted 4-1 to end the practice immediately.
