Azerbaijan Embraer E190 Airliner crashes in Chechnya on Dec 25, 2024

They are trying to pass this off as a bird strike. Looks like they may have mistaken the aircrat for a drone seeing UAV's were attacking at the same time........

Russian air defense most likely caused the crash of an Embraer 190 passenger plane during UAV attack on Chechnya.

An Embraer 190 passenger plane belonging to Azerbaijan Airlines crashed this morning. 67 passengers of which 5 crew members were on board. 32 people survived the crash. All survivors were in the tail section of the plane.

The Ministry of Emergency Situations of Kazakhstan reports that 29 people were hospitalized after the plane crash near Aktau: 15 citizens of Azerbaijan, 9 Russians, 2 Kyrgyz, the citizenship of 3 more people is being clarified. 38 people died, the Deputy Prime Minister of Kazakhstan reported.
