So it's apparently a thing in the world of cyberpunk that people can transfer digital files like videos directly to each other. First Kerry shows us the Us Cracks video, now River shows us the news reel of the NCPD taking down a kidnapper.

What's to stop someone from using that kind of peer-to-peer file sharing with malevolent intent? Imagine being behind the wheel, driving around Night City when all of a sudden you've got some random video showing up right in the middle of your peripheral vision? I couldn't imagine a better way to cause a really bad accident.

River sends the news reel clip without so much as looking at V and V doesn't appear to need to manually accept the file transfer. If it's that easy to send a seemingly harmless video file, then I can only surmise that Vs cybersecurity on his tech is practically nonexistent...
