Differences between the KJV & NKJV Translations of the Bible

Why do Textus Receptus defenders reject the NKJV (Mark Ward)? I personally like both versions. I like the NKJV because it updates archaic words and meanings to correspond with modern day English without changing the sentence structure of the KJV.
