Celebrating Jesus; Isaiah 9:6

Delivered during the Christmas Eve Service, 12/24/2024. In this Christmas Eve meditation the objective is simple and straight forward-- to celebrate our Lord Jesus Christ. We will do this by turning to one of the most beloved prophecies concerning the coming of the Christ-- "For to us a child is born..." . We will analyze every phrase and word in this glorious verse written 700 years before the first Advent of Christ. Through it, we will celebrate the extraordinary nature of the Deliverer God sent to save the world from the darkness of sin. We will notice Isaiah's clear presentation of the great paradox of a Messiah who is wholly God and wholly man. But our focus will be that of adoration and adulation as we delight in the Gospel (the Good News!) as Isaiah presents it-- and simply Celebrate Jesus!
